Preservation of an extraction socket for a delayed implant 1 September 2012

Objectives: Extraction of a three unit bridge in the posterior maxilla area with root fracture and peripheral lesion. Delayed implant and two-implant placement. Use of a slowly resorbable biomaterial for controlling sinus pneumatization. Extraction socket management using 3D collagen matrix. Volume conservation in tissue. Implant placement avoiding maxilla sinus graft.
