The ADF Conference “Pre-implant Bone Augmentation in the Posterior Mandible: Between Myth and Clinical Reality” 17 December 2015

This year has witnessed many successful events, especially those which took place in Monaco, Dubai and Beirut, and ended with our participation to the most prestigious event for dental professionals in France: the ADF Conference.

The session entitled “Pre-implant Bone Augmentation in the Posterior Mandible: Between Myth and Clinical Reality” was presented by Dr Berberi and Dr Cherfane on Monday 24 November 2015.

Following the introduction of the different causes of complications and failures by Dr Tourbah, Dr Hadi Antoun continued with “Can the guided bone regeneration of the posterior mandible be reliable and stable? ” He explained the treatment procedures of the posterior mandible atrophy with guided bone regeneration. Using a classification of the posterior mandible resorption, he provided a description of the treatment for each clinical situation which were illustrated with clinical cases: clinical examination, x-ray examination, procedure, instrumentation and monitoring. These represent the key to a successful guided bone regeneration of the posterior mandible.

During the last conference, Dr Jabbour addressed the subject of bone augmentation in the posterior mandible using allogeneic blocks and presented his surgical approach and its results.

At the end of the session, Dr Hadi Antoun along with the other speakers took time to answer the many questions that the moderator and the practitioners in the room had. They also discussed the latest scientific breakthroughs.

Do not miss our next sessions which will always be this rewarding and innovative!
